A Newly Issued PR Video for the Euro, Just in Time for Its Demise

The European Central Bank has just released a puff piece video for physical euro currency. It turns out that the deadline for turning in old national currency notes ends in early 2012. The video is trying to get Europeans to turn in their old notes.
Pay attention to the promise of the newly installed head of the ECB. He promises price stability (4-minute mark). He does mention the "challenges" that Europe is facing. That's good if him.
Hegel said, and Marx quoted: "The owl of Minerva flies only at dusk." Meaning: the full defense of a social system comes at the end of the system. Minerva was the Roman name for Athena. That seems appropriate. The euro's first tremor began in Athens in April 2010.
