Buy 20,000-Hour 100-Watt Light Blubs
Dec. 18, 2011
The deadline is in two weeks: no more 100-watt incandescent light bulbs. Congress has switched off the lights.
I have switched to LEDs. They cost $15 each. But they give off no heat, which is what I want in summer.
For those of you who still want to buy 100-watt incandescents, I recommend these. They last 20,000 hours. They cost $2.49 each. Shipping is free (the order form says).
You had better place your order today.
P.S. The 2012 spending bill delays funding this for a year, but, as of December 20, the bill had not been passed by Congress and signed into law.
