Arthur Robinson is an expert in several fields: the myth of global warming, the biology of human life expectancy, biochemistry, and civil defense (he and I co-authored a book on this, Fighting Chance, in 1986).
He was Linus Pauling's director of research and also markting, until Pauling fired him for going public with the fact that Pauling's thesis of megadosing vitamin C to defeat cancer was not supported by Robinson's research -- the only research that Pauling had on vitamin C. Pauling suppressed Robinson's findings by locking up the research. (Robinson says that half a gram to 3 grams of vitamin C per day are probably beneficial -- just not megadoses.)
Dr. Robinson will probably be remembered most for the Robinson Home School Curriculum, known as the Robinson Curriculum.
His curriculum, on 22 CD-ROMs, covers almost everything that your children will need to get into college and succeed, as his children have all done. It does not supply a math curriculum. He recommends the Saxon math series.
You pay under $200 for his curriculum -- once. All of your children can use it. The rest of your money buys the Saxon books.
