From "I, Pencil" to "I, Smartphone": Explaining the Free Market in 3.5 Minutes.

Leonard E. Read's 1958 essay, "I, Pencil," remains the best brief introduction to the free market ever written. But, like a pencil, it's old fashined.

Here is an update. It follows Read's story, but it adds graphics.

If I were going to teach a high school class in economics, I would use this video. Then I would assign "I, Pencil."
